Indigenous Art from Panamá

Panamá is a country of great natural beauty and fascinating indigenous cultures.  The Wounaan and Emberá tribes inhabit the verdant Darién Rainforest while the San Blas Islands (Kuna Yala) are home to the Kuna people.  The Ngobe-Bugle dwell in remote mountainous regions of the northwestern provinces.

The indigenous artisans of Panamá make and sell beautiful baskets, tagua nut carvings, molas and other tribal crafts.
